We’re now looking for a thoughtful and open-minded Data Analyst. Sitting in the marketing team, you’ll drive how data is leveraged in solving business problems within our cross-functional teams, which comprise staff from across our functions and regions. You’ll help consult with these stakeholders in defining what data is critical for our success, help set relevant success metrics, and shape our future revenue growth through data insights and effectively communicating possible solutions.

Together with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll help manage stakeholders based on their experience by prioritising business impact, efficiently adapting to business needs, and managing expectations accordingly. You’ll also use your deep practical understanding of the data, workflows, methods, and tooling to autonomously drive dashboarding, analysis and reporting within your scope.

What you’ll do

  • Support the design of key metrics that quantify the success of our initiatives

  • Organise and present your findings in a meaningful way to make sure your stakeholders are able to make the right decision

  • Build dashboards that help internal and external stakeholders understand the performance of their business segment, and identify action points

  • Design and implement decision-making tools that enable data-driven decision making

  • Support our teams in planning and forecasting with automated reporting

  • Work across our teams to build a joined up view of our customer lifecycles

  • Be the ‘go to’ data person across our teams for questions related to commercial and campaign performance, customer behaviour, and more

  • Monitor data and information management processes to ensure data quality and consistency

You are already a great candidate if you have:

  • 2-3 years of generating insights from large and complex digital data sets

  • Deep familiarity with analytical and visualisation tools including SQL, Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Firebase, Google Data Studio, and Google Tag Manager. Any experience with additional tools such as Youbora, Tableau, or Qlik is a bonus.

  • The ability to deliver and communicate insights and reporting to commercial, technology, and product team audiences as well as external stakeholders

  • Familiarity with measuring incrementality via the use of benchmarks, control groups, and statistical modelling

  • Basic data science experience including modelling using R or Python


And even better if you have:

  • Worked with an international digital business whose revenue streams include subscriptions, pay-per-view, data/av monetisation, and/or sponsorship

  • Proven experience with analytics across multiple digital platforms, including apps, smart TV, and games consoles

  • Scripting experience in Google Sheets / Excel and creating workflow automations

  • A good understanding of the global sports and media landscape

  • Awareness and experience of working in an experimentation culture
