The role

At a time of significant growth for our company and in continuing to deliver industry-changing developments, we want you to help provide world-class entertainment to the global fan community by strengthening ELEVEN's global sports platform and live streaming technology.

We’re now looking for a dynamic, commercially-minded Head of Marketing. You’ll be responsible for the planning and execution of the marketing strategy, and sitting across multiple cross-functional teams you’ll provide your expertise on existing and new commercial propositions. The successful candidate will be based in the Netherlands, and report to the Eleven Group’s Chief Revenue Officer.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute a marketing strategy for

  • Strengthen our brand, ensuring creative and messaging for all activities leave a clear, lasting, and positive impression of what ELEVEN is and does

  • Provide marketing expertise to our cross-functional teams, executing on agreed marketing requirements

  • Understand and make improvements to customer journeys, delivering improvements at each stage of the funnel

  • Develop and improve our commercial propositions, including for fans and B2B

  • Guide the day-to-day activities of a small marketing team, and also collaborate with teams across the ELEVEN Group

  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting marketing plans if necessary

  • Develop tools and marketing collateral to service our commercial team

  • In collaboration with other Eleven Group companies, manage and refine’s social media presence

  • Conduct market research in both existing and potential new markets

You're a great candidate if you have

  • A passion for marketing from strategy through to execution

  • Strong generalist experience, with a minimum of four years required

  • Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills

  • A proven track record of ideating and delivering initiatives leading to commercial success

  • An excellent grasp of data-driven decision making

  • A clear history of implementing improvements to each stage of the customer funnel for both D2C and B2B customers

And even better if you have

  • Strong familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, visualisation tools such as Google Data Studio/Tableau, video consumption tools such as YouBora, and building SQL queries via Google BigQuery

  • Ability to respond to changing demands and priorities in a flexible manner in a globally operating business

  • Excellent digital and performance marketing skills including with Facebook, Google, and TikTok, delivering on campaigns to or above target within budget

  • Capacity to think outside the box and propose customised solutions

The state of the art technology available via our newly launched global sports platform (previously, which allows anyone to stream from a device as simple as a mobile phone, revolutionised football broadcasting. Our crazy idea to transform every single match into a live broadcast became the world's largest live football streaming platform. With an initial focus on niche-premium and longtail sports, our ambitions are now even bigger.
